Friends of Oakwood Hill Village Hall is a welcoming community group dedicated to supporting and sustaining the village hall at the heart of the hamlet on Honeywood Lane, Dorking. Bringing together local residents, volunteers and supporters, the group exists to help preserve this much-loved space, which hosts everything from social events and gatherings to activities for all ages.
Thanks to previous funding, grants and ongoing bookings, the hall has already seen important improvements, including solar panels, external cladding and continued upkeep of the building. These investments have helped secure its future, but like many community spaces, rising running costs and essential maintenance mean ongoing support is vital.
